![]() ![]() I'm happy to see this restaurant in the Tyson's Corner area. A lot of flaws, no compensation for a disappointing time. Which pretty much describes how the night went in general. No real apology, no offer to remove it from the bill. One members dessert took an extra 20 minutes. More casual comments about the bad salad, still no manager or apology. Then dessert came. One member of our group had fish that was good, another said it was the worst fish they'd had in years, counting much cheaper establishments. Main courses came, steaks were fine, but not Ruth's Chris. We were quick to point out that it was a disappointment and not very good. When questioned we were politely informed that it was baby romaine and they do it to be different. Which when it arrived appeared to have been made with Bibb lettuce, not romaine. One member of our party ordered the Caesar salad. The servers were fine, if we were paying for outback, but at >$50 a steak I expect more. Upon arriving the restaurant was lovely and we were seated in a spacious booth that was extremely comfortable. Was excited to try someplace new for Mother's Day this year. Dinner for three came to $250 without the wine that never came and consider that it is just another mall restaurant with a big tab. lobster that was simply broiled, therefore hard to mess up) and large quantities do not equal quality. Very ordinary preparation (except for the $90 1 lb. Not that our wine order never came or that the quality of the food was similar to Darden's Olive Garden down the street, just not what one would expect from a pricey establishment. This could be acceptable if there would have been a staff that seemed to care when we were seated, then the service was mediocre, at best. It all started on a low note when we were delayed in seating at our reservation time. As the evening went on we were stunned when the staff started breaking down tables while twenty some diners were finishing their overpriced dinner in one of the side rooms of the restaurant. Noisy, glitzy but busy characterized our dinner as well as completely impersonal service by a poorly trained staff. Opened last month, the best thing that can be said about this overpriced monster restaurant is that the valet parking service works well. ![]()
